dVS Migration from 1GB to 10GB Network

Hi Guys

Currently we run our infrastructure on 4 x 1GB Nics connected to seperate dVS's for production dev/test etc. We are in the process of phasing out our 1GB infrastructure and moving onto 2x10GB nics. In your experience, are you able to vmotion from a 1GB network (from the 1GB dVS and port group) to a 10GB vDS  (exactly same labelled port group)?

Or should we rather do an offline migration to the cluster / hosts connected to the 10GB dVS?
